Little Pieces: A Return to Collage

Working from photographs, postcards, found imagery and text, we will explore the connections between image, memory and identity.
The course will introduce collage techniques such as masking, stitching, tracing, layering and cutting. Please bring photographs, postcards, paper or card memorabilia to work from. A digital camera is useful but not necessary.
Thea Willcocks is a London based artist working with drawing, embroidery and installation. She has a BA in Fine Art from Newcastle University and an MA in the Visual Language of Performance from Wimbledon College of Art.
