Abstraction, Photography and Play: An Experimental Approach to Photography

An experimental photography course dedicated to pushing the boundaries of the creative process. Each week a different style of photographic abstraction will be covered and students will have the opportunity to explore the techniques themselves in an encouraging and playful setting with plenty of group discussion.
Eva Kalpadaki is an emerging photographer with a strong interest in abstract photography. She recently completed her PhD entitled “The Empty Space in Abstract Photography: a Psychoanalytical Perspective” at the University College for The Creative Arts in Maidstone.
