ARTISTS STATEMENT:
I make abstract paintings with a predominant interest in colour. My work reflects my perception of life and nature, remembered and imagined images, forms, moods and feelings from the past and present, combined with an on-going exploration of the language of paint and the painting process.
Patrick Heron (1920 - 1999) wrote of painting and inspiration "Inner and outer
intersect, meet and wrestle in an endeavour each to be interpreted in terms of the other"
