Work Experience
Mark started his career as a teacher in secondary and later in higher education but gave up teaching after six years to explore alternative kinds of organisation. He helped set-up and organise two workers cooperatives - one in the building sector and the other in computer programming.
Latterly, he helped set-up and became managing director of a 50-person management training consultancy from which he retired in 2001. Since then he has worked part-time as an independent ICT (Information and Communications Technology) consultant on UK and European government projects.
