Phoenix Arts Association Ltd (trading as Phoenix Brighton) is a charitable (not-for-profit) arts organisation based in central Brighton.

It provides 100+ studio spaces, short-term project space for hire by community groups and supports a gallery and education programme which bring together professional artists and the general public in a friendly and creative environment.

  • Phoenix Gallery runs a diverse and stimulating programme of contemporary visual arts Exhibitions in all media by artists based in Brighton, the UK and abroad.
  • There are also a number of Events such as film screenings, discussions, outreach events, talks, etc.
  • The education programme features Courses in a variety of practice, including life drawing, fine art, art therapy, children's after-school classes, metal jewellery, ceramic sculpture, and more. Workshops are taught by experienced artists in small groups.
  • Phoenix has developed a Residences programme with the aim of providing national and international artists with the opportunity to develop work within the environment of a large arts organisation.
